My thoughts on Junaid Jamshed

Assalam o alaikum dear brothers and sisters

I am very close
to Junaid Jamshed. I listen to his wonderful naats and nasheeds. He is my hero and inspired me to read naats. I really respect him for that. I would like to say a big thank you to him for making such good naats for me to love. I listen to them every day and he inspires me to read naats the way he does. May Allah bless him.
In life, everyone makes mistakes, and that's natural. Wether it's getting 2/10 in your spelling test or saying rude things, mistakes happen all the time, and that's OK. However, peoole in life judge and criticise you for your mistakes. These people who judge a mistake think that it's a bad thing. Making mistakes isn't a bad thing, it's just a way of learning what to do next time. Of course, everyone has their own right to have an opinion. But mistakes and bad things are two different things.
Junaid Jamshed is hated. He has said, in a video which is quite viral, something bad about Hazrat Ayesha peace be upon her. Is this a mistake? Or a bad thing?
I believe that it was a mistake. He was trying to get a point across and used this as an example. He did not mean anything in a bad way. But what I then believe was a bad thing, was to publish a video in which he holds his hands up and asks for forgiveness from us people. This is bad because if we forgive him what can we do for him? What do we say? We do not care about him. We are not greater than him, nor him greater than us, to ask for forgiveness. The right thing to do was to say sorry.

For this more people hated him and I do not blame you at this point. Because in the life after death we will not be there to place him in Jannah or Jahanam. ALLAH. He is the one who will forgive Jamshed, or not forgive him. He is the one Junaid Jamshed needed to ask forgiveness from. Not us.

Also, a few months ago from now, Junaid Jamshed got beaten up at an airport. In my opinion, that was a very bad thing to do because if Allah wants t punish him, He will. So we shouldn't do Allah's jobs, because Allah has already told us to do jobs. To obey Him. OK, where has He said in the Quran to beat up people for Allah? Where has it said to even kill people? That you will help His jobs? Allah will do His choice.

So therefore I have mixed emotions on this. Sometimes I am with Jamshed and sometimes I am not. But I will still love his naats and I hope you do more in the near future.
Assalam o alaikum
Ifrah
